Eva Mendes is an American model and actor. She was spotted by a talent agency who saw her talent and convinced her to pursue an occupation in the entertainment industry. After lots of thought she decided to drop out of University to venture into the world of entertainment. She first made an appearance in the film Children of the Corn V: Fields of Terror and she was dissatisfied with her performance. In order to prove her worth she acted in a variety of low-budget movies to enhance her acting. The road to this actor wasn't easy, however the sheer determination and patience resulted in a positive outcome. After her success in Training Day, her career as an actor took off.
